Meet Jennifer — The Wolf Woman

Master Dog Trainer. 30+ years of experience.
Co-star of Dog Whisperer: Wolf-Dogs – Out of the Wild.

Known as 'The Wolf Woman' for her groundbreaking work with wolves, Jennifer McCarthy has trained dogs for A-list celebrities and everyday adventurers. She began her career in Los Angeles training protection dogs for clients referred by The Chameleon Group and competing in Schutzhund — a demanding German dog sport.

She's observed wild wolf packs in the field alongside renowned wolf researcher Rick McIntyre. Cared for a family's wolf and wolf-dog on 40 acres of Colorado wilderness, and transported wolves for Mission: Wolf and Wolf Creek Habitat without the use of tranquilizers.

Wolf Woman Essentials® is the gear born from those experiences.

Common Questions

Quick answers about our flagship products.

Silicone Placemat

What makes this placemat different?

Our patented design — protected by design patents in the United States and China — features a raised splash guard that shields walls and an engineered Airflow channel base that lifts the mat so trapped moisture can evaporate.

What size is the placemat?

22" W × 25" L with a 6" splash guard. Weighs 4.2 lbs, with a heavy grippy silicone base that stays put.

Can I use it with multiple bowls?

Yes — the placemat is designed to accommodate up to 2 large dog bowls or most standard feeding setups.

The Wolfstride System

Will The Wolfstride System™ fit my dog?

The Wolfstride System works for walkers of any size dog. Choose your secondary leash length based on where you walk — 3 ft for close control, 4 ft for everyday walks, 5 ft for trails and open paths.

How is this different from a regular harness + leash?

It's an integrated leash-backpack system — patent pending in the U.S. and internationally, with a granted design patent in China. One setup, hands-free, nothing in your hands.

Does the system prevent pulling?

No hands-free leash system prevents pulling. Training is key to your dog's behavior.

Shipping & Returns

When will my order ship?

Orders ship within 1 business day. Standard shipping arrives in 2-7 business days. Expedited options available at checkout.

Is shipping free?

Yes — free standard shipping on U.S. orders over $79. Feeding placemats and feeding setups ship separately in their own protective packaging at a flat rate ($12.95 for one mat or setup, $24.95 for the Two-Zone Mat Setup), so they aren't included in free shipping and don't count toward the $79 threshold for the rest of your order.

What's your return policy?

30-day returns on unused items in original packaging. Return Policy
